Company Profile

Founded in 2013, Keystone Perfusion Services, P.C. is a nationwide key supplier of cardiovascular perfusion and autotransfusion services. We are acclaimed for our ability to provide quality, reliable perfusion and autotransfusion services on short notice.

Our Mission

It is our objective at Keystone Perfusion Services, P.C., to become an integrated and essential part of your health center’s open-heart team by providing the highest level of attention and care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery.

One of the many ways we strive to provide maximum care for patients is by exercising a limitation on the number of our perfusionists providing services to any hospital, a practice we have followed ardently since our inception. This gives them the opportunity to develop a high level of intimacy and familiarity with your staff and procedures. Additionally, we have a flat management structure - all communications are made directly with the company owner, meaning we’re able to bypass any issues of middle management. This makes the work processes efficiently dynamic, and allows us to focus all our energies on creating optimal patient outcomes.

Our Clinicians

Keystone Perfusion Services possesses a staff of 32 experienced, board-certified perfusionists. All of our employees have undergone extensive training. Some employees have up to 26 years of experience, and some have served as chief perfusionists.

The cornerstone of our success at Keystone Perfusion has been allowing our on-site clinicians to play a leading role in the decision-making processes at each of our clinical sites.

Keystone Perfusion Services (KPS) has been an integral part of our Cardiothoracic program at Mercy Health System for the past 2 years. KPS was able to meet our needs quickly and integrate their team into our cardiac surgery program with ease. After arrival a complete program to meet regulatory agency parameters was established with thorough policy and procedures for perfusion services and maintenance of our perfusion equipment. An autotransfusion quality initiative was implemented to ensure our patients are receiving quality autologous blood. The perfusion team from KPS has provided cost-containment practices through strict inventory management and expiration control practices. KPS has responded to all of our demands with professionalism to enhanced and strengthened our CV program.
