"Don’t miss the biggest paediatric perfusion event in Europe this year"

Dear Colleagues,

It is with our great pleasure that we invite you to the first “Scandinavian Paediatric Perfusion Meeting” in November 2016. This meeting is a joint venture event, hosted by the Paediatric Cardiac Centres in Lund (Sweden) and Copenhagen (Denmark), and it is the only paediatric perfusion meeting held in Europe.

The overall topic of the event is “Assist systems to the paediatric population”. We will highlight this subject wide-rangingly, with a variety of international well-known speakers, in an atmosphere of discussions and dialogue.

The European Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion has awarded the meeting with 8 recertification points.

The subtopics will consist of Berlin Heart Excor, neonatal ECMO, transportation of ECMO- patients and VAD from the cardiologist’s point of view among others.

This year’s meeting will also present a session about Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, the patients, the care, the treatment and the ECMO.

At the same time we are proud to have a workshop presented by Dr M Broomé about Ventricular Assist Device simulation included in the congress fee.
